Artist statement

I accept commissions after a brief discussion!

During our discussion, you need to bring your ideas and any reference pieces that are similar to what you want. I will tell you how long I estimate it may take me to complete, and give you a quote. After that, I'll expect you to pass along the reference images along with a deposit, and once I receive those, I can begin work.

Changes cost money, so this first meeting between us is super important, to ensure we both understand the brief. In the sketching stage, I can give you the opportunity to make small changes, but changing the entire idea comes with an added charge, as I will have to discard any work I have completed prior, as well as account for my time. Some changes are often necessary, and I can allow for one or two in the initial quote.

Please respect that I am an artist; my style and creative voice are the things that make my art unique, and result in your commission being one of a kind. I want you to walk away with a piece of art you love, and in my experience, that comes down to ensuring our initial discussion achieves its goal of allowing us to get on the same page.
